I just found them. They are absolutely beautiful and well worth the time that would be spent on making them. What does everyone think of wrapping them in Vellum? Although it makes a beautiful wrapper it is a pretty costly one, especially if you aren't selling your cupcakes. Any ideas for something different? Instead of vellum, one could use chocolate transfer sheets http://www.americanchocolatedesigns.com/ on the fondant surface or stencil a pattern on them.

or, to make the vellum ones at half the cost, cut them in half...use a decorative punch on both edges and run the vellum band around the center.

I'll bet there's oodles of things to put around 'em and I can't wait for others to share them.
Hi, good ideas, would a good quality gift wrap do the job ? looked at the site American chocolate etc. very interesting.

AT hobby lobby they sell a 25 sheet pack of vellum for about $2-3. But I'm really stuck on having the cupcake completely eatable. You could just cover in fondant like we do the cakes and decorate that and i bet it would be just as pretty. cant wait to try one.
wow we need a hobby lobby here! We have Michaels and nothing else. I am with you though Tracey, I really like everything to be edible on my cakes and it's so easy to decorate fondant. They look so good. I am considering trying them out for a not-so-cutesy baby shower. We will see.
If i'm not mistaken you can go on the www.countrykitchensa.com site and i think they have those candy jewels the one that are supposed to look like rhinstones. i can't wait to try .

Wow, where have I been!! I haven't seen the tall cupcakes before. They look really good. Has anyone made some? Are they easy?

I made these for my mother-in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. I wrapped them in vellum from Hobby Lobby and tied a decorative bow around them. Everyone loved them!! They are a pain for wrap in fondant though. I made a mess doing it but they turned out great!
Awesome! Do you have pictures to share? Would love to see them!

I LOVE the tall cupcakes. I have not tried them yet but they are so pretty...

as for the edible "diamonds" I bought some from Diamond Party Confetti and have not used them... spent around $75 for them because I had a cake that I wanted to use them on and they looked so nice on their website but the real product is no where as nice as their pictures. They are still sitting in the package not used yet. What a waste of money! Our son just got engaged so I am thinking about using them on an engagement cake for them... at least they would be used!
I tried to go to the blog and it wouldn't let me because it said I had to be invited. What do I need to do to view or get invited to the blog? Thanks.
Terry, you can view Sugarbloom Cupcakes here...They're all awesome. The ones mentioned above are in the set of flickr images
