hi Jackie i guess it depends on how big it needs to be but probably your best bet is to make it in pastillage so that it will be good and strong, have a look at youtube for some video's you will probably have to adapt the design from a church or something similar, try googling pictures of the chinese temple for inspiration and then simplifying the shape.

You could try using rice treats and making the temple out of thaT and then cover it with fondant...??
