Thank you for asking this question! I was wondering if you could provide some instructions on how to do a royal icing transfer - is it the same as a frozen buttercream transfer? Would just piping the design on wax paper be good enough?
Kathy Kmonk said:Yes you can freeze cookies with royal icing on them. We did it all the time when I worked for Cookies by Design. We would place them on cookie sheets and flash freeze them for 20 minutes then we would stack them in freezer bags or plastic containers. To avoid damage we would place bubble wrap between the layers making sure there was waxed paper between the cookies and the bubble wrap. When it was time to defrost them....we would put the decorated cookies on cookie sheets and then pop the frozen cookies in the oven for three minutes. Then we would pull them out and let them set for a little while before we packaged them. You may want to experiment to see if this method will work for you.
Hey!
I know this is a little off topic but I was asked to make a a few baby shower sugar cookies as guest favours. The cookies I have are baby onsies about 4" in height... I've searched around for prices and majority of places sell them for $2.50-$4.00.
would you say $3.00/ cookie is resonable? This includes packaging as well.
Samples of my sugar cookies that I have made in the past can be found here: www.facebook.com/sweetenedbykagi
thank u :)
