Hey ...
I have been asked to do a 30th bday cake for a husband. He's into stock market and so i am totally running a blank for this cake...i can't think of any ideas.
I know there is the bull and bear, but i dont know how to sculpt like that...how can i make that simpler?
Any thoughts or creative juices flowing out thereee?? HEELPP!!
Thank you!!

Photo of the Bull and Bear on an edible sheet along with that great suggestion from Stacy! Remember the Bull is Good, stocks are up "Charges" and the bear goes down into "retreat". You might even place some dollars? Personally, I would always go with the Bull and not show a bear.
Colors:
Green is good in Stocks are up.
Red is not so good, stocks are down - not what we want.
Have fun!
I love the stock ticker idea! You could put that above a graph of the DJIA or Nasdaq 500 that shows climbing values. Would he be offended if you tied in his age to the climbing stock value? And for the stock symbols you could use companies he likes/follows (assuming you know this info) with their values going UP, that's a great bday present for any investor!
Or a stock certificate design on the cake if it is a square or rectangular cake shape, but instead of a real company you could have the certificate in his family's name ... "this is to certify that [husband] is the bearer of [this birthday] and is turning [number] years old today, something alone those lines? Just google an image of a stock cert for a general idea of what they look like/say. All the legal junk in fine print could just be icing squiggles. That would be simple (well, not so much all the scrolly bits on the certificate) and personal!
Good luck!
What about a cake with fondant in the form of the ticker tape from the stock market with various stock market symbols.
Sorry looks like someone else already had that idea. What about this? And show the best Dow Jones closing!
