Insurance!!!!! Alot of venues these days require license and business liability insurance, you will need a certificate of inspection, a business license from your city, business auto insurance, most likely a serv-safe certificate (may be venue required), a business plan (yes even if you are not seeking financing) a list of necessary equipment, a pricing plan, contracts, business bank account..I am sure there is more.

I'm olso starting my own home cake business , i allredy have all the licenses i need , my customers now are my friends and my children's frineds . i'm worried if i extendit my business i will be under too much presher . any advice abuot handling lots of customers

Nadah, thats the beauty of having your own business. You get to decide how many cakes you can do in a week. Don't think you have to fill every request that is made

WHat kind of insurance and who do I find out from what kind I need??
