Hi Shawnee looking at the picture it looks like a pale grey fondant has been used, but if you want a true silver then your best bet is probably a silver lustre dust mixed with either paint mate or vodka which dries really fast and wont end up making your fondant wet and sticky this can either be painted on with a brush or sponged on.

For making things shiny the best thing is either leaf glaze again painted on or as I do a spray glaze (PME make a good one) but be warned you need to do this "off cake" in a well ventilated room and over old newspaper or something, I made the mistake of spraying leaves over my shiny kitchen worktops and ended up almost chisseling it off for days afterwards its only a sugar spray but it's one bad puppy to get off once its dry lol. If you check out my pics you'l see how shiny it dries. Hope that helps
