Shipping Cakes (by plane)
I've recently had an inquiry regarding possibly shipping a cake for a wedding. The thing is, it has to be by plane. Has anybody ever tried this? (Is it possible?) If ever, how do I go about doing this?

I am about to do this same thing. I will let you know how it turns out. I am freezing each layer (which I do anyway) and putting them in a big box with stabilizers in between each wrapped frozen layer. Hopefully when I get to my destination they are all ok. I"m just hoping they are VERY careful with the box.. lets hope.
