I thought I'd share with you all something that I learned in my last job. It makes cleaning bags a lot easier. We rolled our icing into "bullets" using plastic wrap and then threaded them into our bags...when it's empty you just pull the plastic wrap out and put another in. We rolled all the icing we would need for the day the night before so we didn't have to stop and roll throughout the day. There's very little cleaning of bags this way. It's pretty awesome. Here is a link to my photos. I hope they are helpful. This takes a little practice but it's well worth it in the end. Left over rolls of icing can be frozen in an airtight container. Just thaw when you are ready to use them.
