Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

It would be nice for other members if, when you add your cake photos to the site, you give it a title of some sort and a brief description of what it is and how you made it.  It's lovely to look at your pictures and people are often interested to know how you achieved your look.  Also, if it has a title, it can be found easily when someone is searching for something in particular, either for reference purposes or wanting to look at the cake again.

Not compulsory by any means, but we are interested and would always like to know more!

Absolutely correct Katy. A shame when the photos disappear into the system, never to be found or seen again.

I agree Katy , , also if they can I would love to see the cut cake ! so maybe I can see if I  would like to make one of the same , if recipe is available  ! ,

Gail, my husband already thinks I'm crazy for taking pictures of my cakes.  I can only imagine what he would say if I start taking pictures after I cut it.

haha - I have done that myself once or twice, then forgotten to post them!

Goreti !! lol my man take's pictures of every thing , so he likes to see how the inside looks , Katy post them , I love looking at them , my sister in law , always saying how pretty they look on the inside also , she know nothing about cake decorating ! but she duz ask about that !

I do agree Gail - it is nice to sometimes see the inside of a cake too.

cool , hope we see more ; )

bump

My fiance requested a milk chocolate cake with white icing (my "light" buttercream) with cherries and chocolate shavings on top. Since I have a badly broken ankle, he will get this cake, along with my "world famous" peanut butter cookies as a thank you when I can walk again. Here's to my second surgery next week!

**my mom calls them world famous, she hates peanutbutter cookies but will eat a whole batch of mine**

I'll post pics, both of the finished cake and the inside when I make it.

CANT WAIT TO SEE ; )
