I have a 20qt hobart that i would reallly like to get refinished.  its worn and looks old and like crap quite frankly.   How would i go about getting it painted?  Its way too heavy to ship anywhere but i could take it somewhere in the DFW area of TX if necessary.   I read that automotive paint is used.  Has anyone done this??

Look around your area for a powdercoater. BTW, good automotive paint will run you well over $100 a gallon.

Just found this tutorial and thought you might like it.

thank you,  i might be able to do this myself, or at least my DH will.     I called Hobart today and they quote $600 to refinish it.   a $107 call out fee to look at it and $114/hr to work on it plus parts,  that was if i wanted to get it look at .  Ive never used it and it really needs a clean inside and out.
