Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I was asked to come up with an activity (must be food related) for seniors at a nursing home for Valentine's Day.  Any ideas or suggestions??

Thanks,

Dee, I guess it would depend on the type of seniors you are talking about and what their average state of physical and mental health is?

Maybe making some cookies?  That could be tailored to different levels of abilities and could involve different shaped cutters and then decorating them.  Or working with fondant in some way?

keep in mind that hand strength in not what it used to be and they can be a little shaky as well. Cake pops(rice krispie shaped hearts) might be easy cause you can just dip and then they can add sprinkles to them

My thoughts exactly Patricia re the hand strength
