Navigating this site..
Is there a tutorial on how to navigate this site that I've missed??? There are still some things I haven't learned how to do yet and I'm sure some of the new members may be having trouble also. Like posting "main rm/chat " thing. The things I've learned has been by trial and error.
I went to the FAQ area but didn't see " main room"info.

To the best of my knowledge Betty, there isn't, no. Do you have any specific issues that I can try and help you with? I have found my way round by experimenting too!

I, like Katy, have maneuvered around the site and learned by trial & error. I don't understand the "main rm question? As far as "chat"..... I disabled mine. I am on this site enough as a moderator that I didn't want to be chatting while looking at pics, & performing other duties. But I will try & help with anything I can Betty.

I've seen at the bottom of the "page" a small window that says "Main room----Members on line ( )" - chat etc, Just wondering how you respond to anyone if you get a message there. I think I figured part of it out just don't know where you click to send it. I may not use it, just want to know how. Just curious. I got a message from a new member friend but didn't know how to send back & I think she was having a problem too.

Hi Betty - as far as the Main Room goes, my understanding is that, you just type in your message in the Main Room and enter. That should send the message, the same as it would on any other IM programme (hotmail, facebook etc). Or you can just bring up the Main Room, by clicking on it and see if anyone is having a conversation that you want to join in on. I've just tried to test it, but the member I spoke to quitted just as I was typing!!!!!! To the far right of the main room box you will see a little green dot, that, if you hover your mouse over it, says options. Click on that and make sure that 'Connected to Chat' is ticked.
