Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I am new to cake decorating, and am doing a cake for my neighbor.  She's requested a vanilla-chocolate marble for a flavor.  I haven't attempted this yet.  Is it simply swirling the vanilla and chocolate batters together, or is there more to it than that?

Thanks in advance,
Alyssa

Hey Alyssa....the way i've done it before is you make the vanilla batter first, then remove some vanilla batter and add chocolate to it.

Pour the chocolate batter onto the vanilla batter in a pan and then take a fork and swirl the chocolate and vanilla together (so you're mixing the two). I wouldn't over do it, but that's the idea!

So basically it's exactly how you said it :) Unless there is a better way!!? hehe
Thanks Meera,
I assumed it should be that easy...but you never know! :)
