Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I would like to know if it is ok to use egg whites you can buy in a carton when a cake recipe calls for egg whites.

I have cake recipes that call for 5 or 7 egg whites and I want to know if the cake would turn out ok if I use the egg whites that come in a carton. thanks

Perfectly alright. It should say on the packaging what the equivalent  amount per white is ....
