When I tried to add the videos it told me they are too large.  I will have to break them down more or save at a lower res.  I won't have time until tonight.

Loved the intro song and the video was great! I think I am going to try and make some flowers tonight! :)

thanks for the video,  watched a couple of times,  did you use fondant or gumpaste or a mix.  want to make some practice flowers but out of gumpaste but have 3 boxes of the wilton stuff i need to use up

I use plain old cheap Wilton for stuff that I know won't get eaten... which is most flowers.

 

You can add a little tylose to it and it will handle more like gumpaste.  But I ALWAYS use straight Wilton for this type of thing and I've never regretted it. The few times I've added tylose I have not seen or felt a hint of difference in how it handles or dries.

 

I never say what I use on these videos since there is so much controversy on what you should and shouldn't use.  Obviously it doesn't matter since what I do works just fine... even though I'm told it's wrong.  LOL.  And people have rudely told me on my videos that I'm doing it all wrong.  I've gotten some horrific hate mail. 

 

No, silly.  I'm simply doing it differently, not wrong.

Use up that Wilton!!  That's what I would do!!  I always use the cheap stuff for practice.

thanks i enjoy diffrent and with three boxes of wilton i should be able to get in lots of practice.  I used to teach wilton so i have lots of fondant and the formers.  Hate that the decorating Natzi have given you a hard time
