What an AMAZING job you did... Now i don't know how small your town is, but do your research and find out what they would charge, that's what i did when i started with my cupcakes. But that Dora cake i would not sell less than 95 dollars....I hope this helps you...God Bless you in your business!..</p>

I just saw the picture of your cake and it was adorable. I bake from home as well and do not have my license yet but your time is still worth something as well as the ingredients. I usually call some local bakeries and find out what they charge and then I underbid by $10 -15. I also tell the customers to call these bakeries if they think my price is too high and when they do, many come back to me. Everyone wants to save money and I provide quality ingredients as I am sure you do. Go to…

I know I probably undercharged the cake. I just have an issue to ask more since I do my baking from home and I do not have license. Price of strawberries was $1.50 and I drove about 5 miles to deliver. Decorating took me "forever". I guess, I am learning on my own mistakes - same with pricing.

27$ with delivery seems LOW to me. How long did it take you to make? What was the price of the strawberries? How far was the delivery? All of these things add up. Where I work that cake would have cost at least 85$. for the smallest cake we make.
