How long is cake that's been in plastic containers good for?

I would say it should be fine Terry.  Wrap it up tightly in clingfilm, then foil and freeze it.  Might even help return some moisture to it.

I agree with Katy. I have had cake in Tupperware for a week, and then wrapped and froze as Katy stated. Came out of the freezer and when thawed, still lovely & moist.
