I made a mold of a firefighter's helmet from a toy. I have also made hats from placing gumpaste over a dusted teaspoon measuring spoon. Don't use a regular spoon, it must be a measuring spoon as they are round and not oblong. Dust it with cornstarch so that it does not stick. Have a few more ideas but I am not sure how big/small you need your helmet.
I would mold it around something that is already that shape. I know at the dollar store here they have mini football helmets in the party favor section. then I would just look at a picture to construct the rest. Good luck!
I dont want it that big cause my cake is only 20cm tin so its not to big and im going to put a bike on it and helmet near it on the cake but on top of grass. thanks for the reply and ideas
