Help needed

Hi my name is Courtney. I am trying to start a cake business, as myself and my family have been having some health issues. Because of this, medical bills are mounting. So if anyone has any cake decorating supplies they no longer want, as I am just getting started and have a need if you can please help.(if i haven't posted in the right place please let me know). I am lost as my dad has just been diagnosed with testicular lymphoma today.
