Has anyone used Wafer/Rice Paper for an image transfer?
I read about placing the paper over your image and the using piping gel (and maybe BC). Once set you would place it directly onto the cake? I feel comfortable doing FBCT but just thinking of expanding my skill & seeing what other options there are.

Hey!!! Usually I put the rice paper over the image and trace it with non toxic crayon. Then I cut my drawing an put it on the cake where I can trace the lines with the frosting and making more easier my job.

Thanks so much for your reply. Tell me if I wrong if I can do it this way....lay my image under the rice paper; trim the rice paper to fit the image; fill in the image with piping gel or BC; place in fridge to set; then place on cake? Which method do you like better - using rice/wafer paper or FBCT?
