Has anyone used sugarveil to make a spiders web for a spiderman cake? Does it pipe well?

Making a Spiderman cake with two buildings spidy on one and I really want the web to go from him on one building across to the other building; if it will work I thought sugarveil would be flexible and not crack but would hold up.  I've never used it before - only watched a few videos on the website.

I just tried it for the first time recently and LOVED it! Yes, it pipes extremely well - but be sure to use a very small tip, as it 'pools' as it settles, making a thicker line that first appears. While I haven't done a spiderweb, I have piped other things that I later wrapped around my cake - including lettering. WELL worth the investment - you're going to love it, I'm sure!
I have not used it but the things I see made with it are so intricate and amazing!
