Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I am making puff mince pies and then freezing them for Christmas so I am not panicking on Christmas week, but the recipe says that because I am using frozen blocks of puff pastry that I cant freeze mince pies once baked? is this right I remember doing this last year and mince pies were grand to eat? although I am not totally sure! can anybody advise?

That recipe is talking nonsense Lynette.  Of course you can freeze them after they're cooked.  I do it every year!  I also tend to just very slightly underbake them, so that when you heat them up on Christmas Day, there's no danger of burning them.

and its ok for me to use frozen pastry? great stuff.

oh yes!  Defrost, bake, refreeze.
