you could add an artists easel , painting palette and french poodle.

You could also mimic the french flag colors in the layers of the cake. It is just three layers of blue white and red.

I've done recently Paris themed cake, you can check it out in my photos. I placed flag, map, bottle of wine with glass, tower and Arch of triumph

Stasha...thank you....I went and had a look at your cake....WOW!! it is stunning!
The only thing is the customer asked for a sheet cake to be made...and I have an "ornament" of the Eiffel Tower which has to be put onto the cake somewhere.

I would think if you printed photos in a sepia tone and made them look antiqued in an overlapping collage type deal and have them printed on an edible image it would be really cool and maybe make a french flag out of fondant and drape it and sit the tower on top of it or just behind it. I don't know if my vision is coming through in my answer here.

not sure if this is what they are wanting, but your suggestion sounds good to me..
I will mention to the lady that ordered and see what she thinks of your idea...
