I have to deliver a cake on Friday to be consumed by Saturday ... it is a fondant covered cake with cream cheese filling, should it be refrigerated?
I know that we don't refrigerate fondant cakes, but I'm concern about the filling ...

imo, for this relatively short period of time, as long as the cake is kept cool, then it should be OK unrefrigerated.

Agreed Paula. I think re the cream cheese, that as long as your filling is fairly firm to start with and, as I stay doesn't get too warm, I really can't see how it will go off in that short a space of time.
