You might try my GummyGel. It will not melt, unless it is really hot! And it is mostly clear until you add color. Will retain whatever shape you make it in. Very durable. Just be sure to add a nice flavor, the gelatin itself is not all that tasty! lol The updated recipe is at the bottom of page 2:

Here's my recipe for ice & it works great: 2/3 c. splenda, 1/3 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. light karo syrup Directions: cook on medium high heat in a heavy pot to 300 degrees ( it takes about 30 minuts) stir occasionally. Pour into silicone ice cube strays and cool OR pour onto non-stick aluminum foil, score the cooked sugar with a knife into small squares, cool completely & break apart. You can also crumble the foil & then it will look llike cracked ice. Hope this helps you! Julie Crawford
