Edible ribbon vs fabric ribbon
This would be my first cake for someone that i'm not related too, and I'm super nervous!!!
I would like to recreate this cake with only 2 tires. Not sure if I should use edible ribbon then put the pearls on the ribbon, fabric ribbon with pearls, or no ribbon at all. Any suggestions??

I made a cake very similar to this one a few years ago... did not use ribbon under the pearls though. I will see if I can find the pic and send it your way. Be prepared for hours of work putting on the pearls. It is very time consuming.

Here is the picture of the cake I did... all the pearls are attached with gum glue.
