If you want the page like is lifting from the book do a page in 50/50 fondant gumpaste and let it dry well with a corner lifted like it was being turned, then use som water to add the edible paper. Moist is better than too wet..

Cool to know, I use a different edible paper myself. I use rice paper so there's no backing to remove. Primarily requires water or piping gel thinned out as adhesive.<br />

All of my photo cakes are edible paper (icing sheets) put onto fondant covered cakes. Just fix it on with water brushed on with a pastry brush. It works best if the edible image has been put in the freezer for about 3 minutes, you can handle it better and it comes away from the backing plastic much easier.

Hmm, didn't the last Cake Boss show with Buddy do edible paper on top of fondant for Oprah's celebration? He did all of the magazine's cover pages. I might be wrong but I though that is what he did. I hope someone else saw the show to either verify or correct me. Anyone??? Please.<br />
