Edible Ink Printer

I ordered a Canon ink printer.  I am anxiously awaiting it.  I am a little worried though because I have been reading about the ink clogging up if you do not use the printer once or twice a week.  I have a question.  Can I remove the ink after each use and cap it in the original package and clean printer head after every use?  Will this prevent clogging problems or would this not be good for the printer and ink, taking it out every time I  use it?

I appreciate any   advice anyone can give me.  just trying to prepare myself before my printer arrives.   Thanks  very much
