My fondant mat was also my favorite Jeri...to me it is invaluable. I also have a Kitchen Aid Counter top and hand mixer but my large fondant mat still comes out in first place.<br />

My fondant mat was also my favorite Jeri...to me it is invaluable. I also have a Kitchen Aid Counter top and hand mixer but my large fondant mat still comes out in first place.<br />

I have the Cuisinart 5 quart and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It has a timer and automatically shuts off when done - My hubby bought it for me for Christmas and it is my favorite thing in my kitchen :)

My Kitchen Aid is only 250 watts and I make all my Royal Icing and fondant with it. I have been using it for a couple of years now and have had no problem.<br />

Deah, I would vote for the Kitchen Aid as well. I have 2 for the bakery. I love them. They really stand up to some heavy abuse!
