Cricut machine
how may of ya have use Cricut machine for your cake and what work good on it and what ya like the most about it when you use Cricut machine and what photos of cake of what you use the Cricut machine i am going to get me one in two week so ready to use it

havent had a chance to play with mine but, try looking at www.sweetsouthernladies.com; if that does not work look at www.thattakesthecake.com , click on the celebrity classes and there are some pics from the sweet southern ladies who will be giving the class on "cricut cake" in a couple of weeks.

I have a cricut expression and I do not want to mix the cake stuff with my scrapbook and card stuff... afraid I will make a mess of my machine and my paper crafts but... if you go to www.cricut.com you can view the video on the New Cricut Cake that is just being released. I am really thinking about ordering one so I have one for cakes too. Watching the video... I can see myself using it for lots of projects. I have a friend who is a dealer and she said they will be about $299 so right about the same price as the expression so if you are getting one just for cake... wait till May when the cake version is released. I emailed Provo Craft to find out what the difference is and the cake version has all food safe components. The blade, the mat etc. I also have the design studio program that allows me to weld the letters together so it would make it much easier to put it on a cake that way too.

o thank you for let me know when it coming out that about the time i was going to buy the other one i all do a lot of scrapbook and i hard this but did not know when it was going out that good i will save my money and get it in may thnak you a lot .. i am so happy now so may get her now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want my cricut cake now

I do too! I am on a preorder list for mine and can give you the link to the lady that is ordering it for me. I have a feeling they might be hard to get when they are first released. You can also go to www.cricut.com to see the demo. I am so wanting in right now! Will have to keep a thread going when we all get them so we can share suggestions. It does work with all the cricut expression cartridges so at least I know I won't have to buy all new cartridges too.

This was was a hand drawn scroll that I scanned into Adobe Illustrator. In that program I made some changes to make it more cutter friendly. Then used sure cuts a lot to cut it on the cricut.

I have not used the sure cuts alot yet... is it easy to use?

Yes Jerry it is easy to use. I will be posting a how to on our site in the next few days, hopefully.......
