Thanks for sharing Jennifer!  I have wanted one for awhile now but couldn't justify the cost based on what I would use it for but for this price I couldn't resist.  Merry Christmas to me :)!

EXACTLY! I had to share...though I paid much more for mine, I still love it!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THAT SITE!  Lots of fraud happing to peoples credit cards.  Read the responses on the following link.  http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/mb.asp?cmd=display&thread_id=30...

I've bought from them several times and not had a problem.

I'm glad you haven't had a problem but a lot of other people have.  Just not a chance I'm willing to take.

I ordered and paid it with my discover card using a one time virtual number.  It can only be used once.  I do this whenever I purchase things online just in case.

Thats a good idea too. Thanks

I have one sitting in the closet gathering dust. I have used it maybe once or twice, and that's it. I bought it more for my granddaughter to make cakes with, but now she is in her early teen years and boy crazy, not cake crazy like she used to be. The reason I do not like it is because I don't get to be too terribly creative with it. It's too much like scrap book making and I couldn't get into that either. I, for one regret spending the money on it. It's one of those things I wish I would have known more about before purchasing it, because I would not have bought it. Live and learn. Don't get me wrong, I have heard people say they love it. It's just not my thing.

Thanks for the link. I have been reading reviews and tossing up buying one of these since they were first released. They're available here in Australia for $AUS500 and there's NO WAY I could justify that expense. In a year that has been really difficult for me personally, I think I can lash out on a Christmas present for me. LOL

I have the cricut cake and silhouette and if I had to choose one it would be the silhouette.  If you decide on the silhouette just be sure to get it from LInda McClure so you get the blade and housing for food products that she developed.

When I was making a lot of cards i tossed up whether to buy the craft robo or a cricut. I like the idea of not being restricted to just cartridges. I do a lot of designing in photoshop and Xara Xtreme and make clipart and other images so if I had the money I would have bought the craft robo.
If I could get either it or the silhouette at the right price I'd go with one of those rather than the cricut. Too much ongoing expense.

a couple Cricut projects :)
