Hey Eileen. Thanks so what should the consistency of the icing be to frost them without them drooping? Also would you have to refridegerate the cupcakes until they are ready to eat?
I think I will have to try coloring the icing and see how the colors come out. I need to do like an electric green and pink.
Made according to the recipe (that's just about the right amount of liquid) should hold up nicely. I usually thin it out a little when icing a cake to get it really smooth. I refrigerate them, but I have left one out overnight to see what happens and they were fine. I ate it and had no ill effects, but my house is rather cool. :)
