Chainsaw cake
Hi there everyone! Just throwing a quick question out there, i have a friends 40th birthday coming up, he is an arborist so looking at doing a chainsaw cake. I dont have a whole lot of experience making these sorts of wonderful looking cakes so any help (mainly in how to do the bar and chain part) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jess x

What are you working with, Fondant or buttercream? You can cut the shape out to look like a chainsaw, cover it in fondant and use fondant or gumpaste to make the chain. Or, make the bar out of rice crispies and do it that way. Thats not as fun to me though - I like my cake to have cake in it! But it would work!
