The only one I know of that prints an actual catalog is Country Kitchen Sweet Arts... when you place an order you can request their catalog for free... I take mine on long road trips while my hubby is driving and window shop on the way! :-) Also, I get catalogs from Fancy Flours in the mail and from Kitchen Krafts too. All are great places to shop and great service.
Kitchen Krafts sends a catalog with my orders...not sure if you can request a catalog or not. www.kitchenkrafts.com
Do these companies sell for private use or do you have to have a business? I went to the local store and I am spending a lot of money of things. If I could get them a little cheaper wholesale it might be better. Thanks
Kitchen Krafts is not a wholesale company so you can buy directly from them and I believe Country Itchen Sweet Arts is the same.
I went to Kitchen Krafts and registered for a catalog. The other said they send one with your order but don't have Volumn 8 and Volumn 9 will come out at the end of June. I know I went ot Lucks, and that was only for retailers and buisnesses. You had to find a distrubitor for their products.

Do you find ordering form these types of place (online, catalogs) are better then in a retail store? Is ordering items more in a bulk fashion realistic?
It is better for me because I do not live near any supply sources. I guess if I lived where there were good supply sources, I would shop there instead but I love ordering online... don't have to go anywhere...can sit back with my computer, compare prices from one place to the next without getting out of my pj's....can't beat that! There is just so much more out there in the cyber world. And you will be able to tell if it is a wholesale only place... they won't let you order. Global Sugar Arts, Kitchen Krafts, Country Kitchen Sweet Arts, A& H , Fancy Flours, and many many more are all retail open to anyone.
kraft kitchen and country kitchen sweetart will send a catalog just for the asking. 2 of my favorite sources for ordering cake decorating supplies of any kind.
Gretchen, watch your local thrift shops and garage sales for items, you would not believe some of the pans and things I have been able to buy at a fraction of thier cost, I got an entire brand new Wilson decorating set for 50 cents! It all helps!.... Suzie

I have to order most all my stuff online too and i'd rather have a couple catalogs with a bunch of stickies sticking out than all these "virtual bookmarks" in the computer.

cakedeco.com. they have a lot of stuff. you don't have to be a company to order, but they do have a $50. minimum order.

with lucks, i'm not a true business and I got their catalog.... just put your "cake" name as the business name. they even called me a couple weeks after I got it to make sure that I received it and if i had any questions... I haven't really "Looked" thru it yet it has a lot of the stuff that the cake deco catalog has i haven't compared prices yet.
I have visited a few of these sites and yes there is way to much out there!!!! I think I want a couple of catalogs to flip through. I am can't wait to get them. Now I have a few more websites to look at. I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed with it all, and have only baked a few cakes.
