Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I am more of a cake girl, but took on a cookie project this week. I'm baking giant cookie cakes and followed the recipe exactly to the t. When the recipe said the cookies were done when the edges were golden and the center would still be soft, take them out, and I did. Well, now I've got raw cookie dough centers because I evidentally did not bake them long enough, and I didn't know this until they completely cooled overnight. Is it possible to re-bake them? My gut says no, it will not work, but wanted to ask to see if there's any hope in salvaging all this product. Thanks for the help!

That is funny that you say that. I like for my oatmeal cookies to be soft, but they are never doughy, but my husbands grandmother likes her cookies crunchy, so I caught her putting my soft cookies in the oven to almost burn them to her liking. Other than being overly crispy, they tasted fine. I have also experienced doughy centers on chocolate chip cookies before and I have put them back in the oven, but not after sitting overnight. I would just stick a couple in the oven at 350 for about 3 minutes and see what happens. You never know.
I use my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe as well and I never have trouble with it. Mine bakes at 375 for 12 minutes and always comes out just right. Never too crispy and always nice and soft.
