Cake to look like a biscuit
My cousin and her beau call each other muffin and biscuit. So for the groom's table we are doing 2 cakes, a muffin and a biscuit. For the muffin I'm just going to use the 3D cupcake pan. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions for making a cake. about the same size as the muffin pan, that looks like a biscuit?

do you have an airbrush?
Sounds like a round cake iced with buttercream icing...smooth with Viva's...you can pull lines and poke little air holes in the icing with the Viva paper towel and make the top a little lumpy and bumpy with the viva...airbrush the top ivory and brown....then dust it with powder sugar cornstarch mixture and blow the excess off with the airbrush and it will look like a little leftover flour on it. just a thought
