Buying a cake in NYC?

Bakeries here in the city are way too expensive for my budget, I was wondering if any of your cake decorators live anywhere in the area and would like to make a sweet 16 cake. Please respond. Thanks.

I want a mardi gras themed cake, with purple gold and green and masks and beads. Something thats 3 tiers and overall it can be pretty simple as long as it incorporates the theme.
