I have been asked to make a butterscotch cake but haven't done this flavour before. Anyone have a fool proof recipe they want to share x

O my lord I think I will have to try ......AFTER the one for the customer, can't be taking any risks. But the marshmallow fondant I made & used today is sooooo much better than the bought ones so perhaps it is the way forward in flavouring cakes

Not sure about the currency exchange but we can buy the instant pudding here in the US for about 60 cents a box. Want me to mail you some??

Buttery Butterscoth Cake
250g unsalted butter, very soft
100g brown sugar
100g cup sugar
4 large eggs
185g mcdougalls sponge flour
45 ml cream
Equipment:
Two lined 8x2-inch cake pans 375°F 25 minutes

Simple Butterscotch Cake
8 oz mcdougalls sponge flour (Sifted)
4 oz Butter (Softened)
10 oz Brown Sugar
8 fl.oz Milk
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
pinch Salt
2 Eggs
Deep lined 8 inch round 375°F 10-45 minutes
