Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Made some fabulous cookies last night and thought I would share the recipe.  I have been seeing all the browned butter cookie recipes and decided to make up my own recipe!

1 cup butter (must be real butter)

1 1/4 cups brown sugar

1/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 TBSP vanilla

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup choco chips (I use Nestle)

1 cup coconut flakes

1 cup chopped walnuts

Oven 350 bake time 8 minutes

Melt your butter on medium heat till it starts to foam.  When it starts to foam, wisk it until it starts to turn brown.  When the butter is all browned, pour it into your mixing bowl and set it aside to cool down a bit.

Measure out the flour, soda, & salt together

When the butter is cooled down add the sugars to the butter and turn the mixer on.  Mix it together well for about 3 minutes.  When the butter and sugars are combined, add the eggs and vanilla and mix again for a few minutes.

Add the flour, soda and salt and mix it well.  Stir in the choco chips, nuts and coconut

drop by spoonful onto cookie sheets (I cover mine in parchment) and bake for 8 minutes.

Remove from pan and put on parchment paper on the counter to cool.

These cookies are YUMO!
