Boy's Sweet 16 Cake

I've never heard of a sweet 16 for a boy. What I would search in pictures for ideas is whatever his interest may be, like Star Wars, whatever kind of game systems he plays, whether he is a sporty type of kid-that sort of thing. Searching for sweet 16 for a male probably won't bring up too many results.

i struggled with the same problem when my son turned 16 in February.  In Texas, you can get your drivers license when you are 16 and my son had been counting down the days, so i decided to make a cake like a Texas license plate.  I baked a sheet cake and iced it with white buttercream.  I chose a Texas License plate design that was mostly Red and Blue, and i used his initials for the first 3 letters on the license plate, then 16Y for the other 3, with a small state of Texas separating the 2 sets of letter/numbers.  I used his birth month and birth year for what would typically be the month and year the license plate is good until.  Then, like where a lot of state license plates put the state's logo, I put "Happy 16th Birthday, Caleb".  It was pretty easy and everyone really thought it was cute.
