I agree. 100%  they are not cake balls . Cake balls taste so much better. These are just round cup cakes

i HAVE ALWAYS ROLLED MY CAKE INTO BALLS WHICH WORKS FOR ME BUT NOW I SEE ALL THESE CAKE POP PANS AND I THINK ITS WORTH THE TRY. IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND HASSLE OF CREATING THE PERFECT LITTLE BALL OF CAKE. I STAY UP LATE AT NIGHT AND MY HOME BECOMES INFORMERCIAL CITY :-)

I wouldn't mind having one for when I have left-over uncooked batter. But I too like to make and roll my pops. But will try it next time I get by a 'as seen on tv' store. :)

I agree with everyone else - these are not traditional cake pops or cake balls or cake bites or whatever you want to call them.  It's a cheater way to make them and merely makes round bite-sized pieces of cake.  There is not a single thing wrong with that - but advertise it for what it is.  Once again, it's telling the non-baking community that it takes no skill to do what we do and how dare we charge so much.... you're right... if we aren't making cake pops and merely making round bites of cake.

I have a set but unless i am not filling it the right way the resulting shape is not round.

My Daughter bought this pan for me. Let me put in my 2 cents...I like cake balls alot better..Cake pops are nothing but round cupcakes. The cake balls have so much more flavor because of the frosting mixed into. I will keep the pan for my grandchildren to use for something to do at Nana's house.
