i need to make ruby red daisies out of fondant/gumpaste mix. i have wilton no taste red, should i add a little black to it to achieve the ruby red color i'm going for? thanks

Have you tried dusting them instead? The dusts go on and are very true to color.
One drop at a time till you achieve the right color..keep your red close by in case you make a mistake Hope it works

I agree with Jeri - I would start with a basic red and then use petal dust to deepen the color - you have more control that way. There are a lot of shades of red out there and I would try a couple different ones to see what gives you the best shade.
