hey everybody,
i have an order for a black forest cake and cupcakes, i wanted to do a swirl or some other decorations but the traditional whip cream frosting is very limiting as it holds no shape, so i was wondering if there is another frosting that can be used with black forest cakes that compliments its taste and can be used to decorate as well.

Chocolate and cherry are a classic combo, maybe try a shiny ganache base (all the rage, dont cha know) with a chocolate/cherry B/C swirl and a cherry with stem for garnish.
I like the lorrann oils, they are true to flavor, only takes a few drops and best of all, no aftertaste like extracts.

I use the non-dairy whipped topping by chef's finest. If you can find it give it a try.
