Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I'm doing a cake for 2 graduations and a house warming. They want 3 tiers, 2 yellow cake with chocolate frosting and one banana with regular white buttercream. But they want the banana cake to be the top tier. I just don't think that will look good doing chocolate, chocolate, white. Has anyone done a chocolate, white, chocolate cake before? I'm new to the cake decorating business world, just getting started. Its for a friend so I know they'll compromise I'm just worried about the way it will look. Pictures would be so helpful.

If the top tier is the house warming maybe you can tie it in by making that tier shaped like a house?  It might not stick out like a sore thumb that way.  Just an idea :)
I'v e done 3 tiered cakes before with all tiers being different and I don't think it would look bad having 2 chocolate tiers and a white buttercream tier because they will all be different sizes.  I am not an artist but if you could sketch it out your way and their way and color them, then you could let them decide which they like best. Good Luck!
