Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I made 2 11x15's for a cake I am working on. We have the first one on the cakeboard, please tell me someone has tips on how to get the 2nd one on top of it! I'm worried I'll break it in half.

Put the second layer on another cake board or thin cookie sheet (no sides) and slide it off onto the 1st layer
My cakes don't tend to "slide" real easy. Am I doing something wrong?

If it is just a stacked 11x15, and it won"t slide, cut the second layer in half and place each one seperatly. You should be able to get each one on without it breaking. Just make sure the layers are level so you don't get any sliding. Then ice as usual!
