A Cake Show and Competetion

This event will take place an August 20, 2011 at the Anderson Mall 

It is open to the public. Deadline to enter is July 23, 2011

 You may enter online at www.acscan.org/layersforlife 

 entry fee is $10 per entry 

Youth Division:             Ages 8 – 16  (May have help with the baking but the icing and decorating must be entirely on their own.)
Beginner Division:           One who has only basic decorating skills, taken 1 class or less, and may bake for nonprofit.

Intermediate Division:  One who has taken 2 or more class, and may bake for nonprofit.

 Advanced Division:         One who is/ has taught cake baking and/or decorating and may bake for profit.

Cupcake Category:

1 -12 Cupcakes Division:                  You may present 1 -12 cupcakes.  No display stands may be used and cupcakes must be presented on a flat surface.  All cupcakes must be around one design.

30 or more Cupcakes Division:   You must present your cupcakes on a tiered display stand of your choice.  All cupcakes must be around one design.

Tasting Category:  You may enter any type of cake you choose. No decorations on the cakes, icing only.  You may use box, scratch, or a box mix base.
