Have you always wanted to learn cake decorating? Learn professional tricks of the trade? This is the class for you! In this one day class, you will learn how to make a simple dessert cake and how to make a beautiful birthday cake.

During the first part of class, Kathleen will be demonstrating, each student will be filling, frosting and decorating your own cake. Each student will be working on their own cakes, provided by Kathleen.
Kathleen will share baking hints, leveling, torting, filling and show each student how to work with a bakery type buttercream and whip cream type frosting; learning how to frost a cake properly and smoothly, while learning how to keep the crumbs out of your final coat of frosting ; just like the professionals!
All students will be learning basic piping skills; basic birthday borders, writing, vines, leaves, rosebuds, sweet peas, roses and extra decorating skills as time allows. If students will be attending both classes, more advanced skills will be shown as the student progresses.
Supplies Provided by Instructor-
Instructor will provide cakes, frosting and all other decorating supplies necessary for students to participate and complete cake projects in the class.
