4th Annual CNY Cake Competition & Domino Sugar Edible Fashion Runway Competition Charity Fundraising Event!

Hi Everyone!  This year's theme for our CNY Cake Competition for Juniors-Professionals is 1950's  Music!  Our King Arthur Flour Baking Competition is all about...Cupcakes.  Register by July 26th to get a discounted rate, after that date the price will increase slightly but you can register until September 25th.  We will have a full Vendor Fair again this year with some of the industries top companies represented.  We will have free demonstrations all day long this year!  We have 2 teachers that you can take a class from: Betty Van Norstrand and Linda Milea.  We have added a special event directly following our cake competition.  It is our Domino Sugar All American Classic Edible Fashion Runway Competition!  Yes, you read it right...an edible fashion competition.  We have paired up 4 of the nation's top cake artists to compete on a team with 4 college fashion program students from 4 area colleges.  Their mission...design and create a summer dress and accessories to be worn by a model down our runway out of 5 edible sugar products!  This event is a charity fundraiser for Domestic Violence Awareness and all of the proceeds collected will go to 2 local organizations: Ithaca Advocacy Center and Cortland Aid to Victims of Violence.  With kickin' raffle baskets, an all-day silent art auction and Meet-N-Greet Hor'douvre Hour complete with a Wine Tasting Competition and a chance to meet all the competitors, judges, models, business owners and even get a close-up view of the edible outfits, you do not want to miss this amazing event!  For tickets to our Meet-N-Greet and more information regarding this event, please go to our website www.cnycakedecorating.com
