2013 Queen City Cake and Sugar Art Show

We are pleased to announce the 2013 Queen City Cake and Sugar Art Show will be held at the Cincinnati Duke Energy Convention Center, 525 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 (downtown Cincinnati) on November 15, 16, 17, 2013 during the Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market®,. All cake-decorating and sugar art enthusiasts are encouraged to enter.

This will be the 6th year for the Queen City Cake and Sugar Art Show to be held at Duke Energy Convention Center.

There will be five divisions this year, Youth, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Professional. Please notice the category changes. Tiered, Any Occasion/Novelty, and techniques Not on a Cake categories are all in the skill level divisions. Anyone at any skill level can enter the Happy Holiday Theme and Sculpted/3D categories.

Entries must be created for this show and not entered in any previously judged show. You may have one entry in each category of your Division, as well as one entry in each of the Happy Holiday Theme and Sculptured/3D categories. All entries must be the sole work of the entrant. Anyone who has won one (1) Best of Show or Best of Division Awards is required to move up to the next division. “Edible Images” are discouraged and will not be judged, as they are computer generated and do not show the skill of the decorator. It is the responsibility of the entrant to check on copyright issues for your entry. All entries will be judged on par using a 100-point system. Special awards will be given for Best of Show, Best of Division, Best Happy Holiday Theme, Best 3D/Sculpted, and People’s Choice.
