Created in Alaska with drinkable Alaskan Amber Beer. Two layer chocolate cake covered in white fondant and lightly sprayed with blue to shine through the gelatin "ice cubes" . Barrell is gumpaste, cut by hand, dried and painted with brown food paste color with black fondant for the bands around the barrell.

Great idea - really like this.  Good idea to have the 'drinkable' beer in it too.  He's got the whole package then!

Love, love, love your beer basket cake.  It really looks awesome!  Can you share a recipe for the gelatin "ice cubes" and can you tell me how long they can be at room temperature?  Thanks.

They are real beer bottles with fresh Alaskan Amber Beer just waiting to be consumed. Thanks for the compliment!
